Spotlight Pell City
The Pell City Drama Department has been extremely active for many years, putting on at least two productions each school year and a third to compete in Trumbauer.
Pell City High School is our only on campus club and this allows them the unique privilege of rehearsing on the stage! PCHS students know they are very fortunate to be able to do this and they use the opportunity to produce incredible works of performance. Under the direction of drama teacher Shelby Duke, this club has an energy that inspires!
Pell City High School students have had the opportunity to compete in both district and state Trumbauer for many years! Trumbauer is a theatre showcase and competition where students prepare songs, monologues, scenes among other categories and they are able to compete against students from other schools in their district.
This year, PCHS sent 8 students to state where a few of them placed and scored highly in their divisions!
