Spotlight Core
Spotlight Core is the premier performing club from the Spotlight Drama Education and Outreach Program in St. Clair County, Alabama. Since 2017, the Club has attracted talented actors ages 16 and up from across the region to perform on stage at the Center for Education and Performing Arts in Pell City and is our primarily adult performance group.
Spotlight Core is a club that mainly consists of adults in the county that want to perform. Many high schools in the area give students a performance outlet but things like that didn’t exist for our adults who wanted to be a part of theatre. Thus, Spotlight Core was created, giving at least two production and performance opportunities each year to those adults.
While most of the productions put on by Spotlight Core are comedies, some are a little more personal and mean more to the cast performing it.
