Our Clubs

CEPA Management created the Spotlight Program in 2016. Its mission is to provide a pathway to perform on stage or be a part of a live production for anyone in St. Clair County.

Spotlight, administered by Spotlight Program Coordinator Shelby Maddox, operates or assists eight clubs in St. Clair County, AL – all who perform on stage at The Center for Education and Performing Arts in Pell City.

Each club chooses its own plays and directors and casts its own actors through the guidance of experienced club leaders, the Spotlight Program Coordinator and CEPA Administration.

Since 2017, more than 30 live productions have been performed by Spotlight members on the CEPA stage.

Spotlight is supported by the Alabama State Council on the Arts. It’s presented in 2020 by Hargray Communications with additional support from Trussell Funderburg Rea Bell and Furgerson, Goodgame Company, the City of Pell City and Pell City Schools.
